Complaints Procedure

The Journal of Software, Informatics, and Interactions (JSII) is committed to addressing complaints and concerns in a fair, transparent, and professional manner.
Complaints may relate to, but are not limited to:
  • Editorial decisionss
  • The peer review process
  • Publication ethics concerns
  • Allegations of research or publication misconduct
  • Authorship disputes
  • Conflicts of interest
Submitting a Complaint
Complaints should be submitted in writing to the editorial office and include:
  • A clear description of the concern
  • Any supporting evidence or relevant documentation
  • Contact information of the complainant
Review and Investigation
Upon receipt, complaints will be:
  • Acknowledged by the editorial office
  • Assessed by the Editor-in-Chief or an appropriate editor.
  • Investigated confidentially and objectively
  • Resolved in accordance with journal policies and the ethical guidelines of UPM Press.
Where necessary, matters may be referred to the University Publications Committee or other relevant institutional authorities for further review.
Appeals
Authors who wish to appeal an editorial decision may submit a written explanation outlining the basis of the appeal. Appeals will be reviewed independently where appropriate, and the outcome will be communicated to the appellant.
